I'm sorry to report that it still looked very closed when we passed it last Monday. Mind you who knows...there may be moves afoot to breathe life back into it. I hope so Smile

No worries, Gary. Cheers

The Berney Arms is still going strong thank goodness...there were a number of boats outside when we came past last Friday.

Went past last Thursday - well and truly shut.  A couple of motor cruisers had stopped, and people were peering in through the windows Frown

We went on to the Berney Arms Smile

Thanks for the info.  No 2 son has a football match in Gorleston on Sunday, and I was planning to go down on the Saturday evening.  Would have been handy if there was a bar there.

I was iin the Bell at St Olaves 3rcd weekend in August, only called in for a swift one whilst waiting for a road bound crew member to arrive, seemed nice enough with a good few punters there and meals doing a good trade. They do allow well behaved dogs in too, our Macie was having a great time with a Great Dane of all things!
No fear that dog of ours, we shall see when the shooting season starts proper.
