It is with great pleasure that I can finally announce that Sunday 7th March will see the long awaited opening of Coldham Hall. This will be the first opportunity to try our wonderful range of Sunday roasts using Norfolk reared meat and locally grown vegetables, as well as a selection of our other dishes which will feature on our restaurant menu. Dates for your diary, and certainly worth booking a table for, are Mother’s Day on Sunday 14th March which will feature a specially selected two and three course menu created by our Head Chef especially for this occasion. The Easter weekend promises to be very busy, both in the bar and in the restaurant, so be sure to book your table as we will be offering a mouth watering selection of seasonal dishes. For those boat owners amongst you, if the Easter weekend is sunny why not come across by boat and take advantage of our new quay heading which I am assured will be completed by then. Still, why do you need a public holiday as an excuse to come and see us? In addition to the restaurant, we have a tempting bar menu and excellent selection of drinks, making Coldham Hall the perfect place to come and enjoy a midweek meal and drink to suit any budget. I’m sorry that you have all had to wait so long, but I hope the wait will be worth it. We are very pleased with the changes that have been made over the past seven months and I’m sure you will be too. But the proof is in the pudding, so come along and take a bite…

Mothering Sunday is a no-no, last day of the fishing season! Probably see you at Coldham Hall Regatta though. Best of luck with your venture.

All the best and I wish you well. We don't get down that way very often but will stop over next time we do. Griff

Ok then, website (and this post) a bit short of details still. What time does it open, when does it shut, what time does food start, what time does food stop, do we need to book? ......

Come on stop being so pedantic, let’s celebrate the fact that the pub is reopening at a time when others are closing or struggling to survive. I for one will pop in a couple of weeks when I make my first foray onto the river after a bleak winter, as I moor only a few hundred yards away. Menu, times etc? Who cares, at least I will be able to sit outside on a warm spring / summers evening enjoying a pint again!! I,m sure that once the current owners have settled in all will be revealed. Paul

...And it's not just the restaurant that's been thoroughly refurbished. Work is already underway to sort out Coldham Hall's crumbling moorings. For more - including a photo - go to: http://wherrymansweb.blogspot.com

Could well be popping in sometime in April. Sounds good to me - out of Swancraft, cross the river and moor up. Bliss ps. I take it I've got the right pub??
