i just wondered if anyone had an old blakes brochure from about 80/84 ish. if someone has ,i wonder if you could be kind enough to scan the picture of captain for me? the reason is that the picture is of me & my parents. i have quite a few old brochures but none from these years! thanks

I have all the catalogues for that period, but I haven't had chance to scan them - I'll post one when I can

Ok, Got around to scanning the photos for you, first confusion is there are two! 1980 & 1981 are different - Captain no longer appears after 1981 First is 1980

Second is 1981 - sorry the quality isn't brilliant, it is only a small image in the catalogue and the colour registration wasn't great! I do have larger images which I can e-mail if you PM me your e-mail address

on checking with my parents i seem to have made a mistake. i thought the boat was captain ,which we hired one year. the boat was infact a wooden castle craft (the name i have no idea of),the picture was taken of us along with a picture of us on lindisfarne casle (which was brand new & never been hired out) which is also in the blakes brochure ,this picture i have. the dates i said originally are prob correct but the wrong boat (wot a plonka).
