Latest on this, Ferry was shut last night and is again today. Read into that what you will but I think it could be the end for the Ferry I've just heard on the grapevine that the Ferry Inn, in Horning has got the Administrators in this morning. if anyone is interested in buying a pub start making enquiries, we don't want a pub in such a prime location going under and falling into the hands of a property developer. The Ferry are still taking bookings for Christmas and the New Year according to them. Quote " Nothing is happening for the next month!" so looks like they will be trading up to 2009 at least.

I just read onOrchid Group Rescued This says that the parent group that owns the Ferry went into administration on the 15th, but were immediately rescued via restructuring. I wonder what this means for The Ferry? Regards

Good news, notice on the door of the Ferry says this pub is temporaraly closed and will reopen shortly. It has new owners, Punch Taverns. All Christmas bookings have been cancelled and refunds will be given.
