Hello all, I have just become the proud owner of Perfect Lady 9, many thanksto Mat for all his hard work. It is like being reunited with an old friend as I did my boatbuilding apprentiship at Herbert Woods back in the 70's. I am looking forward to sailing again on the broads and hopefully in the Lady Yacht club reggatta. Doug.
Hi ya Doug, really pleased you bought the boat, its nice to know someone is going to take care of her. Sorry once again that I did not get to see you on the Saturday but I heard from friends you were seen at Thurne and happy with the boat. Look forward to seeing you out on the water sometime, regards Mat PS the reason I use the name 'Japonica' is cause I owned one of those once, and thought it was going to be the last
Had a great few days last week exploring the River Ant Had an interesting trip up to Neatishead managed to bend my new wind indicator on the trees only to find the dyke full. so we stopped at Irstead staithe where i took this pic of Perfect lady 9's crew taking a well earned break. back up again in a couple of weeks. Doug, Hele and FB
